Nevada Corruption

Luckily for me over my whole tenure of purchasing I rarely ran into stolen product. The only time I ran into stolen product was when I purchased from McManus Auction in Henderson, Nevada. There were a bunch of lighting components meant for staging, but some had parts missing. The owner had an older lady lift these heavy components with me into the truck after purchasing. After I loaded the product, I asked Patrick McManus where the product came from and his response was "I think these were stolen." My response in my head at the time was this guy is a class act auctioning off stolen product and then sticking me with it. He told me he removed the product from an abandoned house and I believe this type of product should of went through auction with the city as the city normally would handle stolen equipment in their city auction. At the time I had no clue how to handle this situation and took the lighting units and put them in an Extra Space Storage Unit in Henderson, Nevada. I stopped paying the unit and let the unit go to auction because I was scared that Henderson Police would convict me of the crime and my theory proved right years later which will be explained on this page. McManus Auction is still operating in business. Police always say its civil when it comes to criminal and its a shame that there are no attorneys that represent the damaged citizen in Nevada. McManus had very close connections with Henderson Police for years and was a firearms dealer so when someone has power, you must know how to handle someone that has more power.
